Are Your Welding Repairmen R Stamped? Ours Are.

For months now, you’ve been looking at that dent or ding on one of the tanker trucks in your fleet. Whether or not anyone’s driving the tanker, it’s been driving you crazy. Maybe you think you can repair it yourself, or have one of your own mechanics take care of it. They know a thing or two about welding, right?

Think again.

To ensure quality repairs, you need the help of an R Stamp-certified welder. To achieve the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors’ R “Stamp” Certificate of Authorization, TSVA has completed an extensive certification process that requires us to:

  • Have and maintain an inspection agreement with an authorized inspection agency.
  • Have a written quality system that complies with the requirements of the current edition of the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) and includes the expected scope of activities.
  • Have the current edition of all three parts of the NBIC.
  • Have available a copy of the code of construction appropriate for the intended scope of work.

It is precisely because we have put in the work and training hours required to attain the R Stamp that we are qualified to complete any welding repairs for your fleet. If you’re looking to repair your tanker truck quickly in preparation for another busy season, don’t take dangerous shortcuts.
